I'm sure you are a wonderful dad. <br /><br />Yeah, my post about my proposal notes is very cryptic. The actual dissertation is much more straightforward. It's the biography of the former dean of Georgetown's School of Language and Linguistics. It's a look at his life as a child of Greek immigrants and his rise to become dean of the school, and how it parallels the developments in foreign language education policy and English-only policies in the United States. <br /><br />It's interesting work, although as with any major project there's the inevitable fatigue that comes with it!
